VIGNAL GROUP in exclusive negotiations to take over SESALY
VIGNAL GROUP announces that it has entered into exclusive negotiations for the acquisition of SESALY SAS to its owner Stéphane Vial. SESALY is based in Saint-Priest-Lyon in France.
Founded in 1957 by Stéphane Vial's grandfather, SESALY designs, manufactures, and commercializes on-board light and audible signalling systems for passenger transport vehicles and industrial vehicles. Stéphane Vial, who took over the company in 2001, strongly accelerated its development to reach 27 million euros in sales in 2020 with a workforce of 115 people.
In recent years, SESALY has become a major player in the coach-bus, industrial vehicles and railway markets thanks to its lighting, audible signalling and marking solutions.
This acquisition will enable VIGNAL GROUP to expand in the passenger transport sector while strengthening its positions in the industrial vehicle market. The products developed as well as the markets operated by the Company are highly complementary to those addressed by VIGNAL GROUP.
With this acquisition, the group would reach a turnover of 140 million euros.
